In my struggle to meet the business expectations as a Performance Consultant, I have been constantly challenged to provide solutions which are quick, relevant and keeping in mind the challenges of the project.

In today’s world, we are expected to achieve more in less time. Learners no lon
ger wish to attend a workshop to gain knowledge. They turn to their peers, mentors, friends, YouTube and online learning tools to acquire the required/expected knowledge. Even though most of the companies follow a 70-20-10 Learning model, they still fail to lessen the performance gap.
Our role as learning facilitators is too provide different channels of learning. We need to build curiosity enough for them to come to us for more knowledge.
My idea is to create a platform for the learner to gain the required knowledge in their own environment.

I am sure, the role of learning professionals in the future will be more demanding as the millennials come to work. We need to think of innovative ways to continue the learning process at workplace.
